Flows describe which new branch types are allowed off which base branch. PR rules describe which target a branch type can merge into. * is a single-segment glob (e.g. feature/* matches feature/auth but not feature/auth/login).

What this will do (Phase 6)

Claude will be given read/write access to the project on your behalf — same OAuth scope you signed in with, no privilege escalation. It''ll have tools for:

Reading any ticket, including sub-tasks, comments and linked PRs
Creating branches off a base branch chosen by the branching policy
Opening pull requests with a body that auto-references the issue
Posting comments and updating ticket fields (status, owners, dates)

Each action shows up in a transcript above with the option to undo before it commits.

Coming in Phase 4

Phase 4 adds an Entra (Azure AD) sign-in path for non-GitHub users. They will raise tickets here, see status updates and replies, and receive email notifications when their tickets change.
